What is CBD? Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a non-psychoactive substance found only in Cannabis plants. There is growing scientific support for the proposition that CBD is a valuable therapeutic for a variety of conditions, from inflammation and pain to diabetes, ulcerative colitis, atherosclerosis and heart disease.
CBD is fat-soluble and thus can be extracted from the leavesand immature flowers of industrial hemp plants or cannabiswith ethanol; other solvents used to dissolve oils, grease andwaxes; carbon dioxide in its pressurized liquid (supercritical)form.
Published scientific and medical reports indicate CBD could ultimately prove valuable for:
Drug tests are looking to find traces of THC, not CBD. Our CBD Isolate is THC free, containing 0.00 traces. Our product will NOT show up on a drug test and will not produce psychoactive effects.
An ‘isolate’ is the purest form of a compound. CBD Isolate is the purest form of CBD. Pure CBD Isolate is the compound that is generally used/referenced in scientific trials (such as the ones at the beginning of this document). It contains no THC.
Full Spectrum CBD contains a variety of different compounds such as terpenes, essential oils, other cannabinoids and trace amounts of THC. The impacts that these other compounds have is largely unknown. It’s doubtful that Full Spectrum CBD is ‘bad’ or ‘harmful’. However, the largest concern is the THC level and how that can impact drug tests for professionals, veterans, firefighters, police officers, pilots, etc.
A cross between CBD Isolate and Full Spectrum. Purports to contain no THC, but people often still fail drug tests using this variety of CBD.
Broad spectrum contains different % levels of CBD - anywhere from 5% to 99%. This means you don't know exactly how much of the most important compound (CBD) you are getting in each serving.
For most people, the clear choice is CBD isolate. It is the purest form available, contains no THC, has virtually no taste/odor and has been heavily researched in the scientific community.
As more research is released we may expand to other forms of CBD - most likely a high CBD concentrate version of Broad Spectrum.
